One More Thing.
I was on the toll highway (is Ontario the only province in Canada with a toll highway? Just an observation) doing the customarily absurd speed, when I passed...get this. An El Camino.

Remember those. The car/pickup trucks that were really cool back when you were a teenager...that is, if you were a teenager on the Prairies. They have a normal front like a car, and then a pickup bed out back. They're hilarious.

But here's the thing. It had Alberta plates!
Why? Because no Ontarian, much less Torontonian would be caught dead in an El Camino...but there is still a part of me that thinks they are pretty cool.

I'm sure the ultra bohemian guy driving it was wondering what some lunatic in a tie driving a tiny blue hatchback was doing honking at him and giving him the thumbs up, but that's ok.

You can take the boy out of the west...
