Three Things.
1. Isaac was bending the needle on the "cute-o-meter" again at the park the other day. At the playground, there is a little area with a counter and a canopy where you can play "store." He went behind the counter and put a bunch of gravel on the counter.

"Those are lovely rocks, Isaac," I said. "How much?"
As clear as day he responds, "Twenty bucks."

"Wow, that's alot, how much for that stick?"
"Twenty dollars."

So while he understands the principle of "markup", he is still a little shaky on "supply and demand." We're working on it.

2. Is there anything Mike Holmes is not flogging right now? I know there are some who would never get tired of seeing his big beefy arms on every ad (right Nerniner?), but there is such a thing as too much exposure. No pun intended.

3. If you want to see the nerdiest thing in the entire world, go to www.wallyatwork.blogspot.com and click on the 'wizd' link in the post entitled "hobby." I love him like he was my brother ('cause he is), but the guy needs to take up gardening or something. Maybe home brewing. Cross-stitch?
